“When you go out to battle against your enemies, and Yahweh your God delivers them into your hands and you take them away captive, and see among the captives a beautiful woman, and have a desire for her and would take her as a wife for yourself, then you shall bring her home to your house, and she shall shave her head and trim her nails. She shall also remove the clothes of her captivity and shall remain in your house, and mourn her father and mother a full month; and after that you may go in to her and be her husband and she shall be your wife. It shall be, if you are not pleased with her, then you shall let her go wherever she wishes; but you shall certainly not sell her for money, you shall not mistreat her, because you have humbled her." (Deuteronomy 21)
For future reference, if you hear a voice from heaven telling you kill men and women, then rape-fuck their teenage daughters, I assure you, it was not God. There is no authority in "heaven". Deuteronomy is one of those books cooked up by war-mongering fig-leaf peddling snakes. Feel free to rip it out and toss it in the flames (along with Numbers and Leviticus - 2 books that teach people that God struggles with forgiveness requiring the brutal murder of animals and Mary's children because it gets him off and he can't forgive anyone otherwise.)
"Thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel, 'Add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices and eat flesh. For I did not speak to your fathers, or command them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings and sacrifices.'" (Jeremiah - Chapter 7)
"How can you say, ‘We are wise, and the law of Yahweh is with us’? But behold, the lying pen of the scribes has made it into a lie." (Jeremiah - Chapter 8)
