Raising the dead

It's simple enough for people to believe that God raised the dead, and it's simple enough to believe that God will raise the dead on some unknown future date, but it has been difficult for people to believe that God raises the dead (here and now). They believe that Yeshua (Jesus) went around preaching eternal life, even their children know John 3:16 by heart, but they do not believe that Yeshua was literal. Even though they believe that eternal life meant 'eternal life in the flesh' for Christ, the same is not true for everyone else. In reality, Yeshua preaching eternal life, and subsequently being raised from the dead, go hand in hand - he was literally telling people that God would save the faithful from death. Yeshua knew that God would save him from the grip of death - it was not difficult for him to believe God. It is difficult for you. You do not believe that God saves anyone from death - which is true salvation.

Just think about it - you believe God heals people from cancer or saves people from their crack addiction, but for what exactly? So that they can live for the next 5 years or so only to be struck down by some drunk driver or by the bullet of a brutal cop? Why would God save anyone if God's plan is for them to drop dead a short while after?

There is no mystery. When God heals my flesh, it is because it is God's intent for my flesh to go onward into eternity.

Christ understood this, even the author of the 16th Psalm understood this when they wrote: "Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices; my flesh also will dwell securely. For You will not abandon my soul to the grave; nor will You allow me to undergo decay."

Believing God is required for salvation - but your belief must be founded on God's power and not simply on my words (nor words in some old book filled with ridiculous and cruel stories - the bible). The beginning of your faith is entirely up to God.

Destroying Faith

What better way to destroy someone's faith than to prove to them that they have answers for nothing. Religion is the answer giver, the giver of a bunch of profoundless answers to a thousand made-up problems. What better way to show you how much you don't know God than to throw you into total confusion. To show you that your problems and your answers are of your own imagination. To reveal to you the true problems and the true answers which exist. Since a trouble is not trouble unless it's your trouble. Since a problem is not a problem until it's your problem. It appears that this task is best reserved for God's hand.

In order for me to know God, my faith needed to be destroyed. Mighty powers were not involved in that destruction - just a lot of care and compassion from someone above (Christ) and someone below (Brent). But if mighty powers are required to destroy the faiths of the world, then that is what God will do. God is never out of options.

Heart

A letter written to Brent on April 25, 2017:

Hi Brent.

I had always been a heavier child, teen, and adult. I experienced my first palpitations when I was in college in 1997 or 1998 - very scary for me in those days until I understood what they were. I had always enjoyed savory foods - and the fact that I was surrounded by people who were very good cooks did not make it easy. Plus there were emotional reasons, I'm sure (being gay in a macho-male authoritarian family, and the ridicules and insults that came from family and peers).

In 2008 I was informed from above that I needed to get my health together. I knew that I needed too because I could feel my blood pressure going up after heavy fatty meals - but I looked up toward the night sky and asked anyway, and received the response - but that was 9 years ago, and not today. All the partying and drinking and heavy late night eating caused me to gain a lot of weight - walking a short distance made my lower back feel like pure hell. The smoking didn't help either.

4 years later, in 2012, a red spacecraft flew over the trees and over my head while I was outside on my balcony and my heart fluttered at the same time - then multiple red-lit spacecrafts flew overhead. I knew what it meant, but didn't want to believe it. I told myself to "get it together before shit hits the fan" - and I did lose about 50 pounds and stopped smoking. But then I pretty much stopped dieting fulltime - and went on a more on again off again diet plan - at that point I was still over 300 pounds, and would go up and down in weight (while remaining above 300 pounds).

4 years later, in 2016, during the July 4th holiday weekend here in the US, I ate a large meal at a cookout (filled with burgers, hotdogs, salads, and seafood) - the day following, I endured very bad chest pains. it almost felt like something was leaking. My chest was very tight and heavy and I occasionally felt like I was going to pass out - so I kept walking around my apartment and kept walking around - I figured if I kept walking I wouldn't pass out - and I didn't. That was a bad day personally.

Over the next few days after the event, I limited my quantity of food greatly - removed much of the fat and meat, and the pain began to subside. One day, a few days later, I ate a handful or 2 of almonds and the pain came back. I tried to figure out why the pain came back after having been gone for so many days - so then I did a little googling. I read some research done by a physician Dr. Esselstyn and another physician (whose name I can't think of at the moment) [Dr. McDougall] and they're studies have shown that eating fat (regardless of source) causes the arteries to tighten. It's one of the reasons why some vegans and vegetarians have been found to have high cholesterol and heart disease (though at a much lower incidence than meat eaters). Nuts are high in fat - haven't eaten more than 3 or 4 nuts at a time since.

That was all 8 months ago. I watch my salt intake and keep my fat intake around 20 grams per day (sometimes less). I still eat meat, but much less than I used too - and make seitan, hummus, and black bean burgers on occasion. I no longer weight 300 anything - and the fact that I'm a decent cook really helps - I try to experiment with different foods sometimes. Eating so low in fat - your gallbladder must adjust to the change - and eating a high fat meal later on can cause havoc (I imagine).

You know, we can't eat as they eat and live as they do. They load salt, chemicals, and fat into everything they produce. They build only to later destroy. The only temple of God on this planet right now is your flesh and mine - we are its caretakers - and I'll certainly help you take care of your flesh in anyway you need me to. You are still here and so am I.

2 plus 2 is 4

It is easy for people to believe that God raised Christ from the dead thousands of years ago. But it has been difficult for them to understand that God can raise (anyone from) the dead tonight. Life belongs to God. God is everything, God became everything, and God becomes everything, except nothing at all.

Last night I had a heart to heart conversation with Christ, as if he were sitting right beside me. I needed to understand some things.

Humanity does not know God's compassion - not at all. You in no manner put your trust in God. You may say that you trust God, but, by your actions, you have more faith in weapons and in the strength of your own hands. It's like the husband who often beats the shit out of his wife. He just as often says to her, "I love you." You are like that husband, who feels like he loves his wife, but does not show her love. You know love by her works. You feel like you trust God, but your actions state otherwise; you should believe yourself, and realize what you are doing, and understand why you do the things you do. You know trust by his works.

In fairness, I cannot fault nor judge you for this, because trust (faith) belongs to God. It is only something that God can create. If you saw a man dead and laid in tomb, even attended his funeral with his wailing mother, then a few days later, saw that same man walking out of his tomb - the event would inscribe something in you - almost like a traumatic event. This is faith! It is created by God for whom God chooses. It surpasses the feeling and belief that the dead are raised, and enters the realm of knowledge - like 2 plus 2 is 4.

Faith is what God requires, along with her children mercy and compassion, in order to be granted access to God's eternal and physical garden. It is what God requires for you to be surrounded by all manner of mercy and compassion today - God only requires from you what God would give you.

God requires no worship

The messengers of God flew overhead on Saturday night to tell me that God does not require worship. This made me think, since I already know that God does not require worship and wondered why the spacecraft increased in brightness.

I realized that people worship God in ways other than the typical lip service and song. They worship God with their "good works" and by following their laws and commands and Torah. Worshipping God serves no purpose - God is not impressed by it, and has never shown us otherwise. Grace and mercy belong to God, it is not something you can earn from God by your own merit. God does require compassion from us - for us to treat others the way we want to be treated - but this is for our own benefit, and the benefit of those alive with us. When I am walking barefoot in God's Garden, compassion will be required of me, since I will not be governed by any laws or powers or armed forces. Though I will dwell in a form of flesh, I will be at liberty.

God's Plans

God has not been eager to fully disclose the plans to us (the 2 of us who knows God). In the past, God told the prophets of Israel that Israel would be "plowed like a field" by the Assyrian and Babylonian empires. But no such message has been given to us - perhaps because the Israel of God is long gone, and the depth of destruction and creation which Yahweh is about bring on the Earth goes beyond a few words. ('Plowed like a field' may not even begin to describe what God is about to do to the inhabitants of the Earth).

So we are left with prophecy in part. I was even left with vague dreams - the ignorant firefighters sounding horns and drums to put out the fire; the computer that could calculate potential future events and the automated weapons; the physician that secretly made people sick to keep his business running - angering me and Yahweh at the same time, I grumbled and Yahweh roared. What was made clear to Brent is that the hawk would come out of Iran; and what was made clear to me is that the U.S. would drop bombs on Iran. It was the only time I stammered and said "Iran" and had the vision - one that stopped me in my tracks - immediately followed up by spacecrafts flying above. In short, I was outside speaking to God about Iraq and the horrific violence done in Fallujah all those years ago. While speaking, my tongue was twisted and I said, "Iran".  My mind was then filled with bombs falling on Iran from the U.S. military, and then the messengers of God flew over my head. I said to Yahweh, "Perhaps the U.S. will drop bombs on Iran", then the messengers flew over my head again in confirmation.

Why Iran, I've wondered? Are they the start of something?

God has not been eager to encourage anyone to listen to us (myself especially). God encouraged me to listen to Brent, though at the time I did not know that's what was taking place. But since then, we could only manage to piss people off, and they never considered our words in adoration and truth. Now, I am glad that no one heard me - because at times I spoke from the wrong place, not immediately realizing that God's will comes first in this universe. You have liberty indeed, but God has more liberty. For instance, they say that being a fag is a sin, but if God wants a fag to be a prophet, then what can you or any man possibly say to that fag about God?

The salvation of the world has been introduced to the world by a fag through Christ, and a fag in Christ will see it through.

Life, Liberty, and Injustice

So let's say your child told one too many lies, or had sex one too many times outside of marriage, or if you're old school, ate one too many pork neck bones. So you go outside, fire up your grill, get all the coals red hot and call your child outside. You tell your child that they did one too many wrongs, then you pick up a hot coal with a pair of tongs and shove it in your child's right eye. Then you pick up another and shove it in your child's mouth. Then you pick up your child and body slam them on top of the grill while they scream and plead for mercy.

Would you call this love?

How, then, is this love when God does it?

Now let's say your child, who lives in your house, did something a bit more egregious. Through unfortunate circumstances, they become addicted to crack. While you're at work, they take all your jewelry, your TV, nice furniture, and other more expensive belongings and sell them. You get upset, kick them out for a few years, they sincerely apologize, you forgive them and let them back in your home. Then, they relapse, but this time onto a more clean version of crack that doesn't change their appearance on the outside but rots them inside - but is as equally addictive as the crack they used to do. So they again take your more costly belongings and sell them for money. You become enraged, kick them out again, but this time permanently. You are perpetually upset, angry, and sad.

This is how God treated Israel, this is how God treated everyone. With the exception of Yeshua (Jesus), all Israel violated the terms of their probation, and were sent back to jail with the rest of the world. If you don't believe me, you only need to ask some medium to call on the spirit of Hitler and ask how easy it was for him to slaughter six million Jews.

If Paul would have relinquished himself of his idolatrous beliefs and teachings concerning God (as those scribes and priests penned in the Torah), he could have danced across the bridge of death and stood right next to Yeshua. Paul, like Yeshua, was called by God, but Paul made too many poor choices that negatively affected people and the church (not that the church ever noticed, since, as far as they were concerned, Paul's word equated to God's word). As for what Paul's bad choices were, just remember, "In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets", anything other than this is religion and speculation. Micah stated something similar, "He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?". Paul was a Pharisee and was raised and educated with patriarchal and authoritarian principles - this heavily reflected on his view of God. He meshed his beliefs with what he saw God doing - which was a dangerously awful idea - and this meshed view became the fabric of the Christian religion, even until today. God is not an authoritarian - you never see tyranny coming down from 'heaven' - neither did Paul, yet it is what he taught; and as a result, death was his recompense. (The same applies to the former psalmists, proverbialists, and prophets who clung to that bullshit wisdom tradition - that God blesses the good and shows disdain to the wicked - which is something you don't see God doing, since rain falls on the just and the unjust alike; sometimes shit happens, sometimes it doesn't; sometimes you hit the lottery, sometimes you don't.)

Let me interject: Don't get me wrong - this is not to say that God does not bless, but it is entirely up to God whom God blesses, and not up to you or I at all. God will have mercy on whomever God wants to have mercy - your prayers, songs, worship, sacrifices, etc. have no bearing on this. Any form of mercy that comes from God is God's business, point blank. God's mercy is perpetual and unfailing and uncommon on this planet - much like being raised from the dead is uncommon on this planet. God does not hand out mercy lightly; it is not openly dealt; it is not a switch that God turns on and off with leisure. A lot of damage can be done with God's mercy - Paul being the more recent example, Samuel and David another. Good happenstances are not the same as God blessing someone.

You do see liberty falling from 'heaven' on all life, this is what Yeshua recognized, it is why he freely befriended men and women who enjoyed eating neck bones, and having cocktails, and were "sexually free"; and couldn't stand being around religious men. But even in this, the religious conservatives spun this into religion by calling the "sexually free" the "sick who needed a doctor".

Religion always has apologies - always - religion has perfected them from generation to generation. Religion can rationalize violence, bullying, victim creation, treachery, and lies like no other - it does so even better than high sum investments in coal and oil. Though people are at liberty to help themselves to whatever religion they want, God is at liberty to stay far away from such people - even for thousands of years - as we have seen.
