Utilitarianism - "The doctrine that an action is right insofar as it promotes happiness, and that the greatest happiness of the greatest number should be the guiding principle of conduct." This is the morality of those living in godless despair. This is very cringeworthy for someone like me. This place is often like a bad dream that I can't awaken from. I cannot find light here, and the language I speak is alien to everyone.

I said to Yahweh, "It often feels like I'm playing the waiting game to see who'll drop dead next; this has been Your longest covenant with humanity, and You have not broken nor altered Your promise.. Because of You, they trust in death more than they trust their own mothers or their wisest instructors - even more than they trust their lord and god. They close their eyes, bow their heads, and speak to the wind; then they convince themselves that they're doing otherwise. I have searched in high places, and in the deep, and among the educated, and I could not find one person who could do good without You. So I have learned from this; that man is his own burden without You. He destroys my planet and his people and himself. Without You, something like peace comes through violence or through devastation; but alongside You, violence and devastation are never desired nor required for peace."

That deep trust that you have in death is what I call "faith". The faith that you have in death is the same faith that I have in God's kindness. It isn't "faith" due to words in a book or from a preacher; it is due to the power of death that has been etched into your very being.
